Six years ago, I spent a lot of time working on a magazine for learners of English. I managed to produce three issues. Today, I feel it is time to share them.
ELM – issue 1
How to do Grammar Up exercises?
First read the bold text several times aloud. Then cover the bold text with a piece of paper. Complete the small text in writing first. Replace the dashes with articles and prepositions and put the verbs into the correct form and tense. Once you finish check your answers against the bold text. Then print out the page again, cover the bold lines and read the small text. Add the missing grammar while you read the text aloud. Check your answers at the end of each line.
ELM – issue 2
ELM – issue 3
I have already shared this magazine here and you can find it at Easter – a magazine for learners of English.
Easter is coming and many teachers are looking for materials connected with Easter. Here, I am offering a magazine full of materials connected with Easter for learners of English. I hope you like it.
Finally, Easter is here. I have been looking for this holiday for weeks and it has arrived. I am really happy.
Last year I and Lynne Blackburn devoted a lot of time to our project called ELM (English Learning Magazine.) We created a full 14 page long magazine about Easter.
The magazine contains two articles about Easter traditions in Great Britain and in the Czech Republic, two stories for elementary students to practise past simple tense, two comics and several puzzles for fun.
